Well, funny you should ask! I have been wanting to start a website for a couple of years. In fact, I started one in 2017, and again in 2020, but choosing a name was always where I got stuck. The name of any business can make or break it. Something short but memorable. It needs to convey a message from the start, something catchy, but not weird.
Once I moved to Parma Michigan, I instantly fell in love with the country life. Oh, how much I wanted to raise chickens! I studied them, researched different breeds and what kind of coop I needed. I remember the first time I walked into the farm store. I thought for sure they knew a city girl was walking in! I swear I heard them laughing at me! - just kidding! Before long, I had a brooder for the baby chicks and a hoop coop in the back yard. Oh, my goodness, my grandson loved the chickens! I was smitten with the chickens, but I had the hardest time finding chicken merchandise. I soon realized that I needed to start making my own chicken stuff.
My girls and I was chatting a few months ago and trying to create a catchy name. "Clucks" was funny, and we kept tossing that word around. "Hey Mom, what is your favorite number?" Welp, 72, since I was born that year. (Yes, I will be the big 5-0 this year) And there you have it, 72clucks!
